The musical fountain commissioned for the 7th Horticultural Exposition of Jiangsu has a 204.7-m column of water (671 ft 7.04 in). The fountain was built by Beijing Jiantongxingye Environmental Technology Co., Ltd (China) and measured at the Luoma Lake of the Lakeside New City of Suqian, Jiangsu, China, on 6 August 2012.
The music fountain, located approximately 130 m (426 ft) from the shore, is surrounded by 56 water jets reaching various heights. The original plan was for the main fountain to reach only 199.6 m to commemorate the foundation of Suqian City in 1996. The measurement was taken by qualified surveyors using a Leica TM30 total station.
