Largest collection of hamburger related items

The largest collection of hamburger related items belongs to Harry Sperl, (a.k.a. Hamburger Harry, Germany) and consists of 3,724 items, verified in Daytona Beach, Florida, USA, on 20 September 2014.

He is the owner of the burger mobile from the movie, Good Burger, and he also has two burger beds, one burger waterbed and his prize possession and favorite collection item, his hamburger Harley Davidson motorcycle, a.k.a. Hamburger Harley, a 1987 HD Sportster, built in 1993, which he began riding in 1995.

He began his collection 26.5 years ago by accident. He was selling 50’s memorabilia items and he had a car tray that waitresses bring out to you with food when you would go to a drive in food establishment and he began searching for a fake hamburger he could place on the tray to photograph it to put it on his site. He ended up buying 5 hamburgers before he settled on the one to use for the photograph, and thus, began his collection.

His collection consists of many items, including toys, books, cds, movies and movie memorabilia, vinyl, statues, posters, stickers, bags, boxes, games, figurines, clothing, matchbooks, accessories, etc.
