Most digital sales of a PS4 videogame (current)

According to SuperData, Activision's Call of Duty: WWII achieved more digital sales than any other PS4 game in 2017. The World War II shooter had been downloaded 3,364,962 times for the console by the end of the year – despite only being released on 3 November 2017. The game also had the best digital sales on Xbox One, with 3,477,191 million games downloaded. The game's sales saw the Call of Duty franchise regain the record for most digital sales after losing out to EA's Battlefield franchise in 2016.
