The youngest golfer to surpass US$5,000,000 career earnings on the LPGA tour is Lydia Ko (New Zealand, b.24 April 1997), who was aged 18 years 303 days when she claimed $119,765 by finishing second at the Women's Australian Open held at the Grange Golf Club in Grange, South Australia, on 21 February 2016.
Lydia Ko was the youngest millionaire on the LPGA tour in 2014, her first full season, aged just 17 years 2 months 26 days. She reached that mark in just 16 events.
She reached $5 million dollars in just 52 events; the previous fastest was Yani Tseng after 76 events.
