The most people doing double under rope skips in a relay is 245, and was achieved by Hijiki Ikuyama and Tsukishima Daisan Elementary School (both Japan) in Chuo, Tokyo, Japan on 25 May 2023.

Ikuyama is a professional rope skipper. He wanted to provide students who had been practicing rope skipping an opportunity where they could present their skills. Up until the attempt, students who could do under rope skips helped students who had difficulty doing it. Ikuyama believed that this process helped them develop problem-solving skills and gain the strength to overcome high-pressure situations.
