Most miniature golf courses visited

Between 2006 and 2022, minigolf enthusiast-turned-competitive player Richard Gottfried (UK) visited 902 miniature golf courses, playing a round at more than 560 of these venues. For the majority of these (800+), Richard was accompanied by his wife, Emily.

When also including former sites that are no longer operating that have been visited, that number rises to more than 1,000. In some cases, Richard and Emily have played on the same course multiple times over the years, but each course is only included once in this total (note that a single venue can have multiple courses).

The first venue logged was Treasure Island in Southsea, Hampshire, UK on 30 September 2006 where Richard and Emily played on the Victory Trail with Richard winning the round with a score of 31. The most recent was a nine-hole course at the Pete Cowen Golf Academy in Rotherham, South Yorkshire, UK, on 26 September 2022.

On their minigolf pilgrimage (known as "The Crazy World of Minigolf Tour"), the Gottfrieds have also amassed a huge collection numbering in the hundreds of scorecards, postcards and tickets from the minigolf courses that they have visited.
