The fastest average time to solve a 5x5x5 rotating puzzle cube is 33.73 seconds, achieved by Tymon Kolasiński (Poland) at the All Rounders Katowice I 2026 event in Katowice, Poland, on 1 May 2026.

Kolasiński recorded solve times of 33.43, (29.49), 33.21, 34.56 and (35.52) seconds, with the fastest and slowest times discounted from the average as per World Cube Association (WCA) rules.

He surpassed his previous mark of 34.31 seconds, which he set at the WCA World Championship 2025 event in Seattle, Washington, USA, on 5 July 2025.

Kolasiński set the single solve version of this record on the same day (29.49 seconds).
