Longest Hot Wheels track

The longest Hot Wheels track is 794.58 m (2,606 ft 10.68 in) and was achieved by SAIC VOLKSWAGEN AUTOMOTIVE CO.,LTD. (China) at ID. Festival@2024 in Shanghai, China, on 28 September 2024.

SAIC VOLKSWAGEN AUTOMOTIVE is a Sino German auto maker joint venture, who is celebrating their 40^th anniversary. Hundreds of ID. car owners participated in various celebrating activities. The attempt was part of the celebrations.

The challenge has huge uncertainty. Only 1 Hot Wheels toy car made a complete journey from begin to end of the final track during hundreds laps running in rehearsals. With extremely good luck and strong belief in success, a new GWR title was achieved!

When the toy car was crossing the finish line, challengers all burst into happy tears some even with loud crying. They explained they had little time for preparations and tried their best to find almost all tracks and equipment sold on the market. The victory was quite worthy and exciting.
