Initially released in January 2001, Jagex's fantasy MMORPG RuneScape has, on average, been updated once a week since. As of 25 July 2017, that amounted to an incredible 1,014 updates. The game's popularity shows little sign of dwindling, too – in September 2016, the game surpassed 250 million player accounts since its launch.
