The youngest X Games athlete (male) is Ema Kawakami (Japan, b. 8 September 2014), who was aged 9 years 294 days when he competed in the Men’s Skateboard Vert at X Games Ventura in Ventura, California, USA, on 28 June 2024.

Kawakami finished seventh in the Men's Skateboard Vert and fifth in the Pacifico Men’s Skateboard Vert Best Trick. He landed a 900 in both competitions.
