Largest port tasting event

The largest port tasting event consisted of 536 people, and was achieved by Gustavo Devesas in partnership with Graham’s Port (both Portugal), in Viborg, Denmark on 5 April 2024.

Gustavo Devesas of Grahams Port lead the tasting. The event was also facilitated by Dahls Vinhandel, a wine retailer based locally in Viborg that has a strong relationship with Graham's Port and Symington's. At least 240 bottles were consumed. 20 pourers served the participants. Four port wines were tasted during the attempt. A fifth was served as the successful result was announced. It was a special vintage port to celebrate the 40 years anniversary of Dahls Vinhandel.
