The largest display of thermal pads is 8,064 pads, and was achieved by Henkel Electronic Adhesives (USA), in Newport Beach, California, USA, on 22 May 2018.

The 1x1 inch pads are commonly used in electronics, with the display measuring 4.27 m x .91 m (14 ft x 3 ft). The red, black, and grey pads were arranged into a formation spelling the word “FOCUS.”
