The tallest geranium measured 6.5 m (21 ft 3 in) and was grown by Herbert Jonas (Germany) in Dueren, Germany, and measured on 1 October 2010.
The measurement was taken from the top of the soil to the top of the tallest tendril. From the ground to the top of the tallest tendril measured 6.93 m (22 ft 8 in).
